Ru Paul must be on cloud nine right now! Knowing that the Drag Race impact he’s left is so big, he’s now the most awarded person of colour in the history of the Emmy’s.

During last night’s ceremony, the reality show host was awarded his 11th trophy (Outstanding Competition Program) surpassing cinematographer Donald A. Morgan.

Ru accepted the award with co-host and friend Michelle Visage and season 13 queens Symone and Gottmik.

“Really, thank to all of our lovely children on our show from around the world. They are so gracious to tell their stories of courage and how to navigate this difficult life, even more, difficult today. This is for you.”

He added, “And for you kids out there watching, you have a tribe that is waiting for you. We are waiting for you, baby! Come on to Mama Ru!”
