Another gender reveal party has resulted in tragic consequences. Mason and mechanic Christopher Pekny’s device exploded, killing himself and injuring his brother.

His brother Michael said, Christopher “was really looking forward to starting a family”. Adding, “He was really starting to settle down and grow up.”

The Pekny family, who own the Robin Hood diner in Liberty, NY have closed their restaurant for the immediate future.

Gender reveals has sparked controversy over recent years, on one hand from the LGBTQ community for its perpetuation of outdated gender binaries, and on the other, for their tendency to cause catastophe.

One led to a wildfire that destroyed more than 21,000 acres of land and killed a firefighter trying to put it out. Another killed the soon-to-be gran of the unborn child, and these are just a few of the deadly incidents.

Personally, we say, more Big Dick Reveals, less gender reveals.
