It’s yet to be announced whether Sam will be recast or written out of the series, but we know it will follow the girls as “they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s,” according to the press release.
Despite previews dropping already, the 10-episode, half-hour new series isn’t scheduled to begin production in New York until “late spring”.
