Well, well… there are gays that take liberties, and the there’s Mike Schultz.
You may remember Schultz – who is a medical nurse – making headlines last year after catching COVID-19 from a circuit party in Miami.
The reason Schultz was at the forefront of the media attention was not because, as a nurse he should have known better, but rather due to his dramatic weight loss.
Schultz told every media outlet he spoke to (there were a fair few) that he was so weak he couldn’t hold up his mobile phone and nearly fainted taking the above picture.
At the time he said: “I thought I was young enough for it not to affect me, and I know a lot of people think that.
“I wanted to show it can happen to anyone. It doesn’t matter if you’re young or old, have preexisting conditions or not. It can affect you.”
Yes… if you’re dumb enough to attend an event with 10,000 homos swapping spit and other kinds of bodily fluid… it CAN happen to you!
Schultz then modestly set up a GoFundMe page for himself. Which ultimately made over $20,000.
So, why then, was he recently seen attending more gay parties in Puerto Vallarta in Mexico – which saw a boat capsize with 60 queens on board.
Schultz experienced backlash after his first admission of attending a circuit party in a pandemic, but shared his excitement again anyway.
And that’s the thing with these personality types; as much as they dislike being “cancelled”, they like the attention even more. They think posting to their stories that they’re going on holiday during a pandemic makes people envious… it doesn’t. Most would rather have a functional brain than a G-fuelled slag-sesh in Mexico.
*Update: Some people have reported that Mike cancelled his trip last minute due to backlash. Rightly so. But isn’t the intent bad enough?
So while he wasn’t on the boat, as most trash ends up in the ocean, perhaps he should’ve been.
Furthermore, he took it upon himself to share a photo which claims it’s “survival of the fittest”… We’re not sure that’s responsible practice for a nurse? Or reflective of his earlier sentiments of it “happening to anyone”.
Put it this way, we wouldn’t let her administer an opinion, let alone our meds.
