Teen pop star and younger brother of Backstreet Boy Nick – Aaron Carter – who came out as bisexual last week, has now spoken up to say that he is only looking to “pursue a relationship with women”. What a car-crash! And we’re not talking about his DUI.

Naturally, the gays are angered, and many accusing the singer of using the LGBT+ media to revive his career. Those are some lengths to go to, to pack out a Hamburger Mary’s in Florida. During his performance, he broke down over the “love and support” he’d received, but also spoke to TMZ of some of the shit talk too:

“I’ve been hearing a lot of negativity too, like prejudice slurs and remarks I don’t deserve.” Were homophobic remarks responsible for sending Carter back into the closet? Or was he referring to the queens within our community?

So despite sharing an ’emotional’ letter about his sexuality, it seems that Carter is now down-playing it.

“Right now I think it’s time for me to focus on myself and not really concern myself with dating and being in relationships,” he told the mag. “I’m going to be 30 years old this year, and I look forward to finding somebody I can settle down with and have a family with and children.”

“When it comes down to it, I had an experience when I was 17 with a guy,” he explained, “but now as an almost 30-year-old man, I’m going to be pursuing relationships with a woman.” In case you didn’t get that, “I want to pursue a relationship with a woman,” he repeated.

Yeah, sucking dick is child’s play. Fully grown adults do better hiding who they are. If anything it sounds like he took a step out of the closet and realised that life in Hollywood might actually be easier as a ‘straight’ man, he has reaffirmed with a fake family.

Or were the angry gays right? Had Carter used a bisexual title just to get some recognition? If so, he needs baiting lessons.

Normally when a star comes out as ‘bisexual, they go straight into an intense relationship with the same sex. So is it possible that Carter received more of a backlash than support?

Since his recent comments regarding his persuasion for a tuna purse over a hot dog, the response has been highly negative. Sound off below:
