Last night saw the finale of the iTunes festival which was opened by mega-talent, rapper and model Iggy Azalea. Having missed almost an entire month of performances at Camden’s Roundhouse Theatre, I was lucky enough to get a ticket at the last minute.

I’ve always been an Iggy Azalea fan, but she just slayed her entire performance. Taking to the stage in a sparkling ensemble (that I totally wished I owned) – she opened the night with ‘Change Your Life’ along with other known tracks ‘Murda Business’, ‘Bounce’, ‘Pu$$y’ and probably her most popular single ‘Work’. If I was a club I’d have been TWERKING like Miley Cyrus on heat.

Katy Perry then stormed the stage in a black bodice and kilt with a mixture of new tracks from her new album Prism – including new single ‘Dark Horse’, ‘Ghost’ and ‘Walking on Air’ and old Katy classics ‘California Gurls’. She’s since released the full tracklist and I actually can’t wait to hear the album in full. Katy Perry was an artist I could give or take before but after seeing her perform I gotta say I love her a lot more, and definitely like this direction she’s going in…

And while she’s not the strongest vocalist, her ballad ‘By The Grace of God’ about her break-up from Russell Brand is quite touching. And how catchy is ‘Walking on Air’?
