There’s plenty of ways of bonding with your friends; holidays, hobbies and sharing secrets are just some, but then again, you could just engage in some casual spit-roasting.

And according to a new study, more and more straight bros are having threesomes with each other (and one lucky lady) to cement their friendships. Dr Ryan Scoats of Birmingham City University interviewed 30 male students for the study.

A third had had a threesome by their second year, and a fifth had had more than one threesome (weheyy). Five of the men who had a threesome, had done so with another man.

Dr. Scoats tells the Mail Online: “Younger guys engaging in threesomes are shifting along with society toward being less homophobic.” And we’re fully supportive of that. It’s not gay if the balls don’t touch.

“This is allowing them to have threesomes with other men without it challenging their sexuality.

“The trend ties into bromances, and shows that modern men are more comfortable with their male friends.”

The men described the experiences as “quite fun” and spoke of giving a “high five” during the threesome. Umm, we believe the technical term is called ‘Eiffel Towering’. Which could lead to questioning whether men are bonding over their lowered sexual boundaries, or their heightened objectification of women.

Whether the two men interacted physically during the incident was important, especially to the women. With one saying that it was pivital in getting her off.

Isa, 26, says: “If there is no homo, there is no trio. I find it really annoying if they are reluctant to touch each other.” HA. We love Isa. She sounds like Grace Adler.

Scoats concludes: “Women are generally more reluctant to engage in MMF threesomes than men, maybe because they find it intimidating or objectifying.

“But when it’s suggested the males will be interacting sexually, for some women, this can be anxiety-reducing because they appear less like an object.”
