It’s Ken’s dream dinner party, but we’re not sure Catherine Thery’s remake of Leonardo Da Vinci’s The Last Supper will be going down so well with devout Christians. Still though, we’d totally have it on our wall. 90s icon Barbie is back with a vengence and she’s taking over male-focused classical paintings.

According to Bored Panda, the series serves to “raise questions about beauty, intelligence, and women’s place in society – both then and now.”

To us, it makes a number of statements about women; that they are just as important as men, how views and standards of beauty have changed over time, and how the gender equality has come so far. And they look pretty damn cool, too. We’re gagging over Rembrandt’s Anatomy Lesson… Eerily sinister, but also kind of sexy; like a Dolce & Gabanna editorial.
